I'm looking at my calendar, my to do list, and that familiar feeling is rising up from my chest, grabbing me by the throat, and paralyzingly me with fear. "I've got to get a better handle on all this," I tell myself, feeling completely overwhelmed. "How am I going to get it all done?" Can you see yourself in that scenario?
Confession time: I usually end up sacrificing the self-care routines, yoga, meditation, journalling, etc. Yep, all that stuff I tell my clients they need to make time for. So, not only am I feeling overwhelmed, but there's also judgment of myself as not "walking my talk.”
It’s all about choice. That means it’s an inside job – making self-honoring choices and then having the courage to stand in those choices, no matter what the outside world demands.
I will be hosting a half-day workshop for women only that is dedicated to giving up the idea that we can stalk, hunt, capture, and tame the mythical beast of Work/Life Balance. Together, we’ll explore, discover, take a deep dive into YOU and see what’s underneath the surface of this need to be in a frenzy of doing. You’ll also learn how to:
- Embrace the power of slowing down, when you think you need so speed up
- Stop buying into the idea that you have to do everything yourself
- Get comfortable saying “No” to what you don’t want so you can say “Yes” to what you do want
Space is limited to 40 participants. To hold your space for this special day, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, with "Workshop RSVP" in the subject.
Cost is FREE!
Let’s get this unrealistic expectation about Work/Life Balance handled.
